how does shark finning effect the world?

shark finning is a terrible thing that makes ocean ecosystem crash.while it already kills so many sharks, it also makes it so that the fish communities go of balance because  there are no predators so then the fish will eat more food and the food then be gone so then the fish die and then the predators die and the whole thing crashes. there is now only 1/5th of the shark population left now.
